Spanking Tube has changed it's format recently and part of this format change has included some unasked for pop up windows for a live chat show website. I am not against websites making an honest buck but in my opinion unwanted pop ups are not acceptable on any site. I am very protective of the contents of my side bar links and would not have linked Spanking Tube there in the first place if the site had had this from the beginning. But this site is such an excellent resource for spanking clips that I am loathed to lose it as a link now. So my question is.....

Do you as a reader think that I should dump the link on ethical grounds or keep it, as this is just an annoyance on an otherwise great site?

Well I'm only human and sometimes I just end up Googling the strange things that come into my head and so one of those strange things was "Bottom Shaped Pizza". Normally this kind of thing does not yield much of a result but this time there was quite a good haul of images. I thought that I would share a few of them with you.

It is hard to say if this is a good spanking site or not as I have not joined it and certainly would not join a site offering F/f or M/f spankings without at least having read a review of the site from Brushstrokes first. It does sound like an interesting concept though, a spanking site where the spankings are handed out on the basis of a courtroom style decision. I am always fascinated when I see a report from a vanilla about experiences in the Spanko world. Recently I stumbled across an article in the Salon.com titled The joy of spanking The reporter involved, who attended a SSNY party, did seem to get the idea of some elements of the spanking world.

Early on she observed

Mostly what I see is people getting spanked. A lot. Those who aren't lying someone across their lap or lying over someone's lap behind one of the red curtains are socializing in the main room, chatting the way they would at any other mixer.

Whilst there she did observe some vital facts

Time and time again, the spankos I interview tell me they were fascinated with spanking from a young age and thought they were alone with this obsession.

She did ask one of the questions that we often ask ourselves

Strip protests and sex strikes in Belgium

Belgium has just taken a world record away from Iran (Yea! go Belgium!) for taking the longest time to form a government after a democratic election. Tasha Lee of Bumwrap productions created a stage play some time ago about spanking and BDSM. Now she is, hopefully, going to make this into a film. She has a distributor already and there are investment opportunities for anyone interested. All The Teachers In The Pub, Passing Round The Ready Rub

The title of this post comes from This Old Madness Song, of coarse and refers to the habit of many Teachers, back in times gone by, of smoking pipes. Pipes are a good prop for a male top (you don't have to put tobacco in them, if you don't want to) who wants to give that historical, academic, air of authority, to a play scene. Being of the persuasion of men who prefer to be spanked by female spankers though, this did get me wandering if the same effect could be achieved by a woman with a pipe?

The lady above does seem to have an atmosphere of contemplative concentration about her, as if she is thinking "Shall I give him one or two dozen strokes?".

She seems to be giving me that "I decide which whip gets used by who, on who's back side, in this stable, boy!" look.

And the calm manner of this lady does give the impression that she is meticulously planning how the punishment will go, when he arrives.

All in all I think that a pipe does add an element of authority and academia to a woman's appearance, perhaps more female spankers should have a pipe at hand? And If you were wondering, yes I enjoy the odd bowl of aromatic tobacco, in the evenings, myself.

Due to many factors, this January is featured high up in the "Top Ten worse months of my life" list and so I am glad that it is drawing to an end. There is a website called Etsy that specializes in selling handcrafts from all around the world to places all around the world. I was visiting that site, a couple of days ago, and just for fun started putting things like "Spanking", "BDSM" and "Kinky" into their search engine and low and behold, several kinky items turned up. Some of the items looked like very well made pieces of kit.
